Why Costa Rica have fewer cases of Covid and America’s LOWEST mortality rate?

Up to June 24th, Costa Rica has registered only 12 deaths due to Covid and a total of 2,368 cases, with a mortality rate of 0.51%.

Costa Rica achieved these results because of this:

    • A Universal Centralized Health Care System.

    • Successful Primary Health Care.

    • Development of own strategies.

    • Respect for social distancing.

    • Sanitization and hand washing.

(98% of Costa Rica homes have access to clean water).

Only 178 Cases and 0 Deaths.

 
 

New aqueduct brings more water to communities and businesses

The enlargement of 15 kilometers of pipes will provide an additional 120 liters of water per second, which will supply 14,250 people in communities as well as industries.Starting in May 2020, Government Institution AyA is now issuing legal water letters for construction permits in Playas del Coco, Playa Ocotal, Playa Hermosa and Playa Panama.
